Before and During the Procedure
Before a Rhinoplasty, we will complete a detailed medical evaluation of your health and medical history. The Rhinoplasty method is preferably performed on individuals who are physically healthy and a nonsmoker. The patient will be advised to avoid tobacco products, alcohol beverages, definite blood-thinning supplements and medications for a number of days before the Rhinoplasty. The techniques employed in Rhinoplasty vary significantly in every patient because of the complexity of the nose and the nature of facial anatomy. The entire method can be finished one to three hours. To begin with, the patient will be placed under the influence of general or local anaesthesia. The surgeon will perform an open or closed Rhinoplasty. For an open technique, a small incision is made under the nose while close technique doesn’t involve incision on the exterior of the nose. The closed procedure is suitable for patients who do not need complex nose re-shaping. After the incision, the nose is reshaped. To finish, the incision is then closed.
After the Procedure
Instantly following the nose lift, discomfort, numbness, and swelling can be experienced but these can be managed with prescribed medication. To support the new form, a soft nasal packing is placed along the nose within a single day only. To control swelling and aid proper healing, a splint is stuffed in the nose for a week.It would normally take 12 months for the final result to be completely visible, but your new nose is worth the wait.
